Dear ReVoicers,
In October 2014 we celebrated our 5th anniversary and biggest edition yet over 12 nights and 4 venues in and out of London!
Over the last 5 years, ReVoice! has hosted over 160 musicians from all over the world including Carmen Lundy, Tuck & Patti, Gregory Porter, Carleen Anderson, Beady Belle, Ian Shaw, Karin Krog, Kenny Wheeler, Norma Winstone, Liane Carroll, Raul Midon, Sofia Rei, Rebecca Parris, Carmen Souza, Christine Tobin, Jhelisa Anderson, Claire Martin, Maria Pia de Vito and many many more.
We have been lucky to have had the unwavering trust and guidance of Ross Dines, Music Manager at the Pizza Express Jazz Club – our co-producers from the start. We also hugely appreciate the support from audiences, fellow artists and press. You have all helped grow the festival into something I’m immensely proud of and which has definitely inspired and informed my own path as an artist.
Following our sabbatical in 2015 I realised that due to my commitment to other writing and performing projects I no longer have enough time to do justice to running ReVoice! So for now there are no plans for future editions but I’m hoping that one day we will return…..
In the meantime you can relive some of the great music browsing through the ARCHIVE and PHOTO pages. My latest album Live at ReVoice! features no less than 12 of my duo opening sets with collaborators including LIANE CARROLL, IAN SHAW, ROBERT MITCHELL, MICHAEL JANISCH, NIKKI ILES , MAURIZIO MINARDI, LAURENCE COTTLE and many more.
